THIS ROAD LEADS WHERE YOUR HEART IS

Listening to: Red Lights by Tiesto

Wearing: Boots - River Island . Tights - Primark . Dress - Topshop . Jacket - Zara . Hat - Asos

Every now and then, it's good to treat yourself. I bought this gingham smock dress the other day and I absolutely love it. Although the fit isn't most flattering, I love the lazy look and feel of this dress.

At the minute, I'm only buying clothes that can be worn all year round. I think this will look great as the weather heats up, teamed with bare legs and gladiator sandels.

Beware: with this baggy dress and the windy weather, be prepared to flash the occasional stranger.

BABY, THIS IS WHAT THE NIGHT IS FOR

As I'm single, I decided to buy myself a Valentine's Day present because, well, I love me. I decided to buy myself my first matching underwear set. Personally, I think nude underwear isn't the prettiest and white underwear is too bright under light clothes, so I went for light pink. The Ted Baker selection at Debenhams is beautiful. It's full of floral lace, bows and pretty gold charms. The Ted Baker range starts from a 32A and goes up to 38DD and this same set also comes in cream and black. I'm sure I'll be investing in many more matching sets in the future and not just for Valentine's Day. I'll be sure to wear this pretty pink set tomorrow.

LOOK UP IN THE SKY, IT'S A BIRD, IT'S A PLANE

Wearing: Shoes - Primark . Jeans - Topshop . Top - Topshop . Jacket - Zara . Necklace - The Bohemian Collective . Scarf - French Connection

I love this outfit. It's simple and comfy with a little bit of colour, which you don't come across much of these days in my wardrobe. I forever live in black, grey, khaki and burgandy but, in all honesty, I'm excited to add a bit of colour as the weather heats up.

Now to the pictures. I have decided that I will never be good at striking a pose and my dad (love him!!) will never be the best at taking photos, so fuck it. From now on, I hope you enjoy seeing pictures which look more like outtakes and have me giggling like a fool.

HAKUNA MATATA

Watching: The Lion King
Wearing: Boots - River Island . Jeans - Topshop . Jumper - Primark . Denim Jacket - Primark . Hat - H&M

As the sun was actually shining today, I thought I'd dig out my denim jacket, although I'm not entirely sure it was warm enough. I teamed it with my oversized cream jumper for some extra warmth, my new boots and my staple beanie.

I bought my new boots the other week and have been in love with them ever since. Even though they're quite high, the platform helps to keep my feet comfy. Finally, a pair of heels I can actually walk in.

YOU CAN'T GO ON THIS WAY, THINGS HAVE GOT TO CHANGE

Wearing: Shoes - Primark . Jeans - Topshop . Jumper - Zara . Necklace - The Bohemian Collective . Jacket - Topshop

Last week, I mentioned that I was getting my hair cut. As you can see, it wasn't anything too dramatic. I had 3 inches off the length and a side fringe cut in. Although it's only been a short amount of time, I have decided to grow my fringe out already. I like my hair to be effortless and my fringe is just too much effort.

Since coming home, I have decreased the contents of my wardrobe by about half. I want to invest in clothes that I love, that can be worn in all seasons and for years to come. The outfit I wore today made the cut.

TO SEIZE THE MOMENT AND DON'T SQUANDER IT

Wearing: Hat - H&M . Snood - Primark . Coat - H&M . T-Shirt Dress - Topshop . Belt - Primark . Tights - Primark . Shoes - Primark

Today my dad had a rare day off work and just like always, we ended up watching Bargain Hunt together. Today was a little different as we decided to go and look for our own antiques at Battlesbridge Antique Centre.

Battlesbridge is a short drive away, yet I haven't been there for years. As it's Friday, there wasn't many places open but it was lovely to wander around to look for old treasures.

At the moment I am in the process of decluttering and, eventually, redecorating my room. As I spend so much time in it at the moment (job hunt... kill me), I am trying to make it as comfortable as possible. I am on the hunt for an old suitcase to store my clothes in and I saw plenty at Battlesbridge. I can't wait to go and buy one.

BUT I'M A 90'S BITCH

Listening to: I Love It by Icona Pop
Wearing: Shoes - Primark . Jeans - Topshop . Shirt - H&M . Jumper - Apricot

Whilst travelling, I lived in shorts, t-shirts and leggings. It's safe to say, I was excited to get back to England and wear something that didn't resemble the basics section of a shop. I was, however, surprised to see that fluffy jumpers were now a thing. I didn't get it! That was until I felt a fluffy jumper. When I wear mine, I feel like I'm wrapped up in bed being hugged.

I would just like to draw your attention to my head. This is the longest my hair has ever been and this evening, I am getting it cut. It won't be anything too dramatic. Maybe a few inches off and a cheeky fringe cut in. I love my hair this length and the only reason I'm cutting it is so my future self can have even better hair. My hair is all different lengths at the moment and so I'm sacrificing a few inches in the hope my hair grows at the same length.

SO I SINK IN TO THE TUNE, AND I INHALE THE FUME

Listening to: On a Mission by Katy B
Wearing: Sunglasses - Ray Ban . Tee - Boy London at Asos . Jeans - Topshop . Bag - Zara . Flip flops - Havaianas

When you're travelling, you wear the same clothes every week. A little while ago I got so fed up with my clothes, I made an Asos and Topshop order and got it delivered to Australia.

I have always wanted a Boy London tee, so I splashed out. I don't usually spend so much on t-shirts but I thought why the hell not.

Just after these pictures were taken, I ended up jumping off the jetty in to the sea with my t-shirt still on. My friend gave me a top to wear whilst mine dried. I ended up keeping it on for the rest of the day and she wore mine, once it had dried. We both decided that our t-shirts actually looked better on each other, so we decided to swap.

This day turned out to be one of the happiest days of my life; so full of laughter and the best memories. Now, my new tee won't only remind me of my lovely new friend, but one of the best days of my life.

WHEN YOU'VE GOT NOTHING, YOU'VE GOT NOTHING TO LOSE

I have been in Perth for just over 4 months now, and this weekend I will be leaving for a new adventure. My time in Perth has had it's ups and downs, but I have many happy memories here and I look forward to coming back, once I have seen some more of Australia.

Out of my 4 months in Perth, I spent only 7 weeks working. I worked for a Sales and Marketing company and my job was to sign people up to charities. Yes, I was one of those people you try to avoid eye contact with in the streets. It started well, but in the end I lost interest which meant I didn't earn as much money as I would have liked, as it was solely commission. In hindsight, I should have quit the job weeks before I actually did, but I made some amazing friends whilst working there so I have no regrets. In my last few weeks of work, I bought my one way ticket to Adelaide and had a sufficient amount left for a decent beer fund.

Today was my last day in the city and it was spent with my good friend Caitlin in The Lucky Shag. The Lucky Shag is by far my favourite pub in the city and I'd highly recommend going if you ever find yourself if Perth. The pub sits on the water front, just next to the Bell Tower, so the view it pretty amazing. The staff are friendly, it's got a chilled atmosphere and I can pretty much guarantee you'll enjoy a drink there.

This weekend I'll be flying from Perth to Adelaide, then by coach to Coober Pedy.
